Doyle Marine is a full service marine supply e-store with a unique combination of products, totaling 10,000+ different products. The challenge was to provide a system that could easily manage their products from 3 different suppliers, 2 of which were dropshippers. Dalmatech provided a system that automatically invoiced, billed, and logged the sale to the customer and simultaneously emailed the correct dropshipper with different email formatting, shipping info, and product info. The online store links with USPS's Shipping Calculator API to automatically calculate order shipment costs at point of sale. It calculates the shipment costs differently depending on the vendor of the product and the type of product.
In addition, Dalmatech set up a custom API with one of Doyle Marine's dropshippers to automatically refresh their stock products, product info, and product images every evening. Doyle Marine is also provided with a robust product management interface, CSV product uploader, and Order Management system. |
